About my practice

I’m so glad you’re here.

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, it is my honor to walk alongside clients as they move towards meaningful change in their lives. It takes courage to reach out for help and begin a healing process. We’ll work together to create a path for healing that works for you and continue to check in about it all along the way.

I use an integrated approach to help you connect mind + body, honoring all parts of your system that hold your story. Relationship with self, significant others, and community are at the heart of my practice. My therapeutic approach is integrated and strongly influenced by my training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

A bit about me

I completed my undergraduate education with a B.S. in Psychology and Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and my M.A. in Counseling Psychology at National University. Prior to pursuing a career as a therapist, I worked in software + web development as a project manager and got a taste of corporate life where I realized I loved the relational components of my work with clients most.

When I am not seeing clients, you can find me at the beach, exploring the outdoors, or wandering a farmers market with a coffee in hand. I am married to the love of my life and we are always striving to keep our marriage a safe place to grow and be adventurous. I have two young children and a labradoodle that I love being “Mama” to. I am a Midwest girl at heart but am so grateful to have built our home and community in San Diego.
